Service and repair log
Enter the service date, odometer miles, work performed, category, vendor, parts cost, labor cost, and notes. The Total cost column adds parts and labor for each logged row.
Mileage and cost summary
Maintenance Summary uses cross-sheet formulas for parts, labor, total maintenance cost, logged services, and the odometer range you have recorded.
Next-service details
Keep your next service miles and date beside each service record. Follow your vehicle manufacturer's service guidance; the workbook does not create automated reminders.

Excel setup

Start with the blue cells.

  1. 1Download the .xlsx tracker and open it in modern Microsoft Excel.
  2. 2Read the Instructions sheet, then replace the illustrative rows in Service Log.
  3. 3Enter non-negative parts and labor costs, plus positive mileage when those values apply.
  4. 4Keep the formula cells protected and use Maintenance Summary to review the records you entered.

Google Sheets setup

Import the same workbook.

  1. 1Download the .xlsx tracker to your device.
  2. 2Open Google Sheets and choose File > Import > Upload.
  3. 3Select the workbook, then choose Replace spreadsheet or Insert new sheet(s).
  4. 4Confirm Instructions, Service Log, and Maintenance Summary are present before replacing the sample rows.

No add-in or separate RoadEdge account is required for the file itself.
